The Coventry Hope Partnership

Money and goods donated to The Hope Fund - Coventry are given in full and directly to destitute people via the Coventry Hope Partnership, organisations with day to day exposure to the problems of local destitutes. You can read more about the work supported by the Fund in this BBC article click here
Coventry Refugee Centre manage the fund, providing and distributing food parcels, vouchers for hot meals, an advice service and two emergency accomodation rooms for destitute people.
Coventry Peace House run a night shelter mainly accommodating destitute asylum seekers. Up to 20 sleep here every night and are provided with food and basic necessities. Recently Peace House has had to regretfully turn people away due to demand exceeding their resources available.
Churches Together for Refugees in Coventry (CTRIC) and Carriers of Hope are two Christian organisations, each week Carriers of Hope operate a shop stocked with essential items distributed to those facing extreme financial difficulty. CTRIC support, befriend and help destitute refugees and asylum seekers.
Akimbo provide emotional and practical support to migrant, refugee and asylum seeker women in Coventry, enabling women to manage their own lives and feel supported to cope in harsh circumstances.
Emmaus in Coventry provides shelter for up to 15 local homeless adults as well as operating a shop selling second-hand furniture.
The Coventry Friends Programme give befriending and holistic advice services to asylum seekers, refugees and EU migrants.
