Refugee Integration
Our refugee integration (RI) service helps newly recognised refugees integrate into UK society. At the core of the service is an individual 'personal integration plan' with intensive casework support and advice for up to six months. Integration advisers and volunteers help refugees and family members to quickly identify and access the key services which they need, e.g. housing and welfare entitlements, and then develop and realise their aspirations for training, further education and employment.
To be eligible for our support service, refugees must have come through the NAM process and have been given leave to remain in the UK.
"CRMC has been very good and very helpful. I would like to say thank you - I am grateful and God bless"
RI services support new refugees in the crucial early stages after they receive leave to remain status. There is a clear linkage with other refugee support services, for example those providing longer term support and those supporting new refugees who are not eligible for RI (such as refugees granted status through the Case Resolution Programme).
